22mm In Line Blender Valve

CircoMax Pumpset Unit

The Ambiente CircoMax is one of the most advanced pump/blender units on the market. Subject to advanced design and stringent testing, this unit is unique to Ambiente and boasts the following features:

Compact UFH Pumpset Unit

Ambiente Compact UFH Control Unit is a perfect solution for single zone areas that require underfloor heating. The pre-assembled unit has a Grundfos circulating pump, thermostatic mixing valve and isolating ball valves and will control up to 40m2 of underfloor heating. It can be controlled directly by a room thermostat. It is popular for conservatories and extensions because it saves on the cost of a separate manifold/pumpset. It can be easily plumbed into existing heating systems via the 15mm copper connections.

Floor Mixing Unit

Floor mixing unit distributes primary warm water into both high temperature and low temperature circuits from one central unit. It can serve up to 200m2 however it is recommended to have a manifold installed in accessible locations on each floor. Each unit also has a bypass and manifold ports so that towel radiator connections can be added.

Manifold Cabinets

Ambiente manifold cabinets are supplied in a white enamel finish giving a neat professional look and requiring no further decoration. Designed specifically to hold our manifolds, they are equipped with the necessary fixing points and also have flow/return pipework entries that can be configured on-site to suit specific requirements. The door section has a telescopic action to allow for variations in wall thickness and any plaster or rendering applied to the wall. The in-wall cabinet caters for a typical dry-lined partition wall, allowing a neat and flush finish.

Stainless Steel Manifold

Ambiente stainless steel manifolds are designed for use with hydronic underfloor heating systems. They can either be used in conjunction with a pump/blender unit, or coupled directly to the centrally blended/pumped heatsource.

Dial Thermostats

Although the shift in the controls market has been much more towards digital/programmable thermostats, the basic dial models do still have their place. Buildings such as schools, nursing homes and community centres often prefer to stick with a basic dial model, for the ease of the building users. As mentioned above, for maximum efficiency, we would always recommend that a dial thermostat is used in conjunction with a system timeclock, to ensure that the heating system is regulated and operates at required times.

Digital/Programmable Thermostats

By far the most popular choice now for underfloor heating is to go with a digital programmable thermostat – not only does this allow the system to operate more efficiently, but it also offers the user more flexibility and means that the heating can be programmed around the lifestyle of the individual.

Smartphone-Control Thermostats

An advance on the digital/programmable thermostat range has been the introduction of heating controls via smartphones and other handheld devices. Ambiente offers the Neo control system which comprises of digital/programmable thermostats which are located in each zone, with the option to upgrade to smartphone control via the introduction of a NeoHub unit, which plugs into your broadband router. This system is cost-effective and simple to operate, a great alternative to a full BMS control solution – and can also be incorporated as a retro-fit upgrade, providing the necessary wiring (3 core + earth cabling) is in place.

Wiring Centre

The wiring centre is the central wiring point for the control of an underfloor heating system. The wiring centre receives a signal from the thermostat in each heating zone, which in turn: • Opens the relevant heating loop, via the relevant actuator valve(s) • Opens the zone valve on the primary heating circuit • Sets the local pump running, in order to circulate the water through the pipework • Sends an ‘enable’ signal back to the boiler to activate it, if it is not already firing Ambiente supply wiring centres for 230v, 12v and Wireless systems. Some more simple systems with a single zone can be controlled without a wiring centre or individual actuator valves on each loop – the wiring can be set up from the ‘back-end’ switching on the zone valve.

Actuator Valve (24V)

Thermoelectric actuators are used for the individual control of heating circuits on an underfloor heating manifold – this is especially important with multiple loops controlling different heating zones. The valve contains a wax element, which on receipt of a signal from the thermostat (normally via a wiring control box), the valve will open, allowing the warm water to flow through the relevant pipework loop. Ambiente actuator valves are fixed onto the manifold return bar with a M30 nut (part of the valve) and they have a visual indicator, so that you can see at a glance whether the loop is open or closed. These valves are available in both 230v and 24v versions.

NeoStat (230V)

The NeoStat is 230v powered and is the ideal upgrade route for those with an existing mains powered thermostat. NeoStat can operate in Timer or Heating Mode and can be used with remote sensors.

NeoStat-E (Electric UFH)

The NeoStat-e is our electric floor heating model, capable of switching up to 16A. A 3M remote floor sensor is provided and the NeoStat-e can be used alongside all other NeoStat models on the same system.

NeoStat-HW (230V)

The Ambiente NeoStat-hw is a time clock with changeover contacts. It is designed for those with a motorised valve that requires power to open and power to close.

NeoStat (12V)

The NeoStat is 12v powered and is the ideal upgrade route for those wanting app control and that have existing low voltage cabling installed. NeoStat 12v are compatible with our 12v Wiring Centre UH8-N.

NeoAir Wireless

The NeoAir is ideal for those looking for a totally wire free App controllable solution of your heating and hot water. Both the UH8-RF and RF Switch receivers are compatible with the NeoAir.

The AmbiStructural system is used where UFH is required to be incorporated into a structural floor build up. Typical scenarios are airport hangers, car show rooms, where point loading can be extremely high.

AmbiDeck 18

The AmbiDeck 18 system really does give the best of both worlds – it provides a low-profile underfloor heating system, which incorporates an insulation layer and can be tiled directly onto. AmbiDeck 18 consists of a high-density XPS insulation panel, 18mm thick.

AMBIDUOCLIP

The AmbiDuoClip is a cost effective, hybrid solution that can be used where AmbiTak is the preferred option but the insulation board is either not deep enough to allow the pipe to be securely held with tacker clips alone or where the insulation is a PUR type board which lacks the required density to hold the clips in place.

Park Bearer

CMS Danskin Park Bearer Acoustic Floor Bearers are an economical acoustic batten featuring a special closed cell polyethylene foam layer on the underside. They provide effective impact and airborne sound insulation on concrete separating floors. The softwood timber has either PEFC accreditation as standard or FSC on request.

PE-RT Pipe

PE-RT stands for ‘polyethylene of raised temperature resistance’. Polyethylene has excellent properties at high pressures and temperatures as well as being very flexible and easy to use. It is non-corrrosive, frost-resistant, creep-resistant and has a high impact strength. If the pipe is distorted, or even kinked, it can be reworked to its original shape very easily. The outer layer protects the oxygen barrier from mechanical damage, moisture and other damaging materials.
